We only drank coffee, they have just black filtered coffee (you can add milk) which is freshly made. You also get a small tasty peanut cookie. Nice and calm atmosphere

Best coffee in the area. The employees are super friendly. They explained to me that they are trying to empower the local coffee growers by buying directly from them. Nice vibe.

We organized a three day hike from Lushoto to Mtae with the guys from the coffee corner. The tour was very scenic and our guide Rogers was really friendly and helpful adapting to our preferences and explaining a lot on the way. One of the highlights was the second night accommodation where we slept in a monastery. The rest of the accommodations was basic but a very authentic experience. We were told that 30% of the money we paid goes to local projects for infrastructure and education in the villages which after getting to know our tour guide seemed very credible. All in all an amazing experience and highly recommended.

Note, if you see this guy in the picture below; Don’t trust him. His name is Bakari and he’s been fired from Tupande due to unacceptable behaviours. He now uses their organisation as a cover to scam tourists, which is sad as Tupande itself is great! He is intelligent and manipulative and will say all the right things to gain your trust. But! Tupande itself is a welcoming and safe space for tourists. My girlfriend and I had the pleasure of hiking with Roggers (pronounced; Rodgers) for 3 days from Lushoto to Mambo. Roggers is local and very knowledgeable, thus good at explaining historic events and facts about the surrounding animals and vegetation. He’s empathetic and works professionally; gives space for privacy and doesn’t chat if he senses your need for silence. Also he has a sixth sense for spotting chameleons - we found 17 chameleons even though it was raining season! After our trip we returned to Lushoto. We hung out at Tupande and enjoyed their good coffee. Local beans, locally roasted and good flavour, served with a sweet peanut bite. If you like pour-over coffee, this is a good place.

Nice small coffee corner. Also a place to arrange tours (waterfall, coffee, hikes). Next to a local bakery where they bake bread for the village.
